TÜYAK Training Seminar: Comparison of Different Automatic Fire Suppression Systems

The fifth of TÜYAK's 2026 Training Seminars was held on 13 June 2026 at the Hilton İstanbul Kozyatağı, attracting strong participation from industry professionals.

Moderated by Dursun Kuzey Şahin, the seminar featured presentations by Dr. Gökhan Balık on “Comparison of Water-Based and Gaseous Automatic Fire Suppression Systems” and Olcay Cömert on “Comparison of Different Types of Gaseous Fire Suppression Systems.”

The presentations provided a comparative overview of the operating principles, advantages, and disadvantages of different fire suppression technologies, including water-based, gaseous, and water mist systems.
